Overall Learning Objectives: 

By the end of this series, participants will be able to:

  • Analyze complex clinical cases in sport and exercise medicine by applying current best practices and evidence-informed approaches discussed during rounds.
  • Compare and contrast diagnostic and treatment strategies used by peers in various sport medicine settings, identifying opportunities to adapt or improve their own clinical approach.
  • Integrate insights from colleagues’ experiences into their daily clinical practice, particularly in areas involving interdisciplinary care, athlete management, and return-to-play decision-making.

Accreditation

This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by the Canadian Orthopaedic Association.   • Diane Lambert, MD,  is a long term CASEM Member from Quebec city and has a world of Sports Medicine family medicine  experience with different populations. Teacher, medical coverage of international sporting events and conference organizer are also her strengths.

Dr. Bruce Davidson, MD, CCFP (EM, SEM), Dip. Sport Med., Emergency Sport Medicine Physician

  • Bruce Davidson is a well know CASEM member. His involvement in the many committees especially the Team Physician courses.  His involvement with Cycling, and Para Sports is legendary.

Dr. Bob Brock, MD, FRCPC, Dip. Sport Med., Orthopedic Sport Medicine Physician

  • Bob Brock had run a drop-in Sport Med clinic for 30 years. This catered to all ages and levels of physical activity. His Community based Orthopaedic Practice spanned 45 years. Teaching family practice residents was a focus.
