Sport & Exercise Medicine Physician (MD)
Pivot Sport Medicine & Orthopaedics is seeking a Sport & Exercise Medicine Physician to join our established, multidisciplinary sports medicine clinics in Toronto.
About the Practice
Pivot is a high-volume, referral-based sport medicine clinic serving recreational, competitive, and elite athletes, as well as performing artists. Our collaborative team includes Sport Physiotherapists, FCAMPT physiotherapists, massage therapists, dieticians, chiropractors, athletic therapists, Osteopathic practitioners, and pedorthists, and experienced sport medicine physicians.
Position Overview
This is an independent contractor role with flexible scheduling (part-time or full-time). The successful candidate will provide evidence-based sport and exercise medicine care within a supportive interdisciplinary environment.
Clinical Practice May Include
Acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries
Sport-related and overuse conditions
Exercise-based management
Return-to-sport decision-making
Diagnostic MSK ultrasound and/or image-guided injections (if trained)
Qualifications
MD with CASEM (Dip. Sport Med certification) designation or eligibility
Eligible for licensure with CPSO
Strong interest in Sport & Exercise Medicine
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
